I've recieved my election enrollment forms again yesterday. This was perhaps my 4th set of them (I feel a bit guilty for all the trees who had to die so I could confirm my democratic rights), and I completed them promptly.
I'm quite excited about the upcoming November elections, both in New Zealand and America. In New Zealand I'm excited about the fact that my measily opinion could dictate life as we know it in Aotearoa for the next 3 years. In America I'm excited to see what a future in a post-Bush, post-financial-apocalypse world looks like. I am also curious to see whether the Americans are able to vote in a man whose skin color would have meant that he was no more than a lowly piece of property some 150 years ago, into the seat of the most powerful office in the world.
November 2008, should be excitement all around in a democratic kind of way. Anyone know who they are voting for yet?

-Your posting system is super weird hence the no comment on your last post :(
-I also blogged about the elections, it was aptly named Electile Disfunction and for good reason
- November is indeed a wondrous month for it is when i have my birthday
- Birthdays are all that really matter right now in my fatigued state
-That and being thankful to whomever started using bullet points
-Voila! We are now done
